I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the National Institute of Textile Engineering and Research (NITER), University of Dhaka, currently on study leave to pursue my PhD in Applied Computing at Georgia Southern University, USA.
My research focuses on the intersection of emerging technologies including Internet of Things (IoT), Blockchain, Software-Defined Networking (SDN), Network Function Virtualization (NFV), Artificial Intelligence, and 5G networks for smart applications in Industry 4.0 and healthcare.
I have published over 40 research papers in high-impact international journals and conferences, with several receiving best paper awards and high citation counts.
My current research explores the integration of Blockchain and Software-Defined Networking for securing IoT networks in smart applications. I'm particularly interested in how these technologies can enhance security, privacy, and efficiency in critical domains like healthcare, smart cities, and industrial automation.
I'm also investigating the application of Federated Learning and Explainable AI in healthcare systems to enable privacy-preserving and interpretable machine learning models for medical diagnosis and treatment.
I employ a multidisciplinary approach that combines theoretical foundations with practical implementations. My work typically involves:
